Introduction
Project Uganda has a portfolio of projects ranging from the development of Gables Vocational Training Centre to the Agricultural Project. All of the projects are located in the Rukungiri District of Uganda and based around our Mission Statement.
Mission Statement
To provide education and opportunities, to Teenagers and Young Adults, so that they can contribute to their local community and its micro-economy.
To support these individuals in their local communities as they develop their skills and business that will see them step out of poverty.
Our final target is self-sufficiency for the individuals, the Project as a whole and ultimately the community in which they live.
The projects are managed by our local Project Representative Akampa T Moses to ensure control and accountability of project spending. He is guided by the Project Uganda Committee in the UK, with regular visits being made by committee members to assist in the management of the projects.
